We Are Guåhan, in collaboration with the Guam Preservation Trust, has produced a short educational film about the community efforts to save Pågat Village.

Sunday, September 30, 2012 @ 10am – Guam International Film Festival

We Are Guåhan is proud to announce that “We Are Pågat” was accepted by the Guam International Film Festival.  The short film will be making its big screen debut at the Guam International Film Festival on Sunday morning, at 10am.

Monday, October 1, 2012 from 6pm – 8pm – “Prutehi yan Difendi Workshop (University of Guam Lecture Hall)

The Guam Preservation Trust, in collaboration with We Are Guåhan, will be hosting the Prutehi yan Difendi Workshop on the National Historic Preservation Act on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 6pm – 8pm.  The workshop will be led by Brian Turner, an attorney with the National Trust for Historic Preservation (“NHPA”).  Attorney Turner will discuss the NHPA, the role that it played in the efforts to save Pågat Village, and the continued role that the NHPA can play in community efforts to protect historic sites.
