“Most Guamanians aren’t concerned about Guam’s geological stability—but they are worried about the impact an impending military buildup could have on their cultural heritage. Some 8,600 marines and their 9,000 dependents are scheduled to move to Guam from Okinawa, as well as thousands more construction workers, troops, and others related to the military buildup.”
